FURMAN CLOSES PRESEASON WITH 1-0 WIN OVER PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE

CLINTON, SC - The ninth ranked Furman men's soccer won its second of two preseason matches 1-0 over Presbyerian College on Friday night.

Sophomore Sean Murray scored the match's lone goal in the 54th minute. After a good combination play down right wing, the ball was played just inside the box to Jay Bracknell who squared the ball to Murray, unmarked, who slotted the ball into the corner of the goal.

Furman turns its attention to the regular season opener as the Paladns open the season against No. 1 ranked Maryland on August 29 in Omaha, Nebraska.
