FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER SET TO HOST GEORGIA SOUTHERN IN HOME FINALE

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team will play host to Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern in its final regular season home match Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

The Paladins, 4-7-4 overall and 2-2-2 in SoCon play, will honor seniors McNeil Cronin, Scott Hoch and Kenny Penn as they play their final match as Paladins at Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium.

Furman enters the Georgia Southern match fifth in the Southern Conference standings, just one point behind Appalachian State. Wednesday night's match will be the 16th meeting in the all-time series between the Paladins and Eagles with Furman holding a 13-1-1 edge over Georgia Southern. Furman defeated Georgia Southern 1-0 in Statesboro, Ga., last season. The Eagles are 2-2-1 in the SoCon and 6-8-2 overall.

Furman will play its regular season finale Sunday afternoon at Clemson before traveling to Charleston, S.C., for the Southern Conference Tournament next Thursday.
