MCNEIL CRONIN EARNS SCHOLAR ATHLETE HONORS

GREENVILLE -- Furman senior McNeil Cronin was selected to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Scholar Athlete All-America second team this week. He also earned NSCAA Scholar Athlete All-South first team honors.

Cronin, a senior from Winston-Salem, N.C., is a political science major boasting a 3.30 grade point average. Cronin becomes the seventh Paladin to earn Scholar Athlete All-America honors. He is the 11th Paladin to earn scholar athlete all-region citations.

McNeil Cronin served as one of Furman's two captains each of the last two seasons as he started all 19 matches this year, recording three assists. Cronin is a three time NSCAA third team All-South region selection. Cronin finished his career with three goals and 20 assists for 26 points.
