GREENVILLE -- The 14th ranked Furman men's soccer team will host UNC Asheville on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children.
The Paladins are 8-2-1 on the year and ranked 14th by Soccer America and 15th by College Soccer News. Furman leads the SoCon with a perfect 4-0 mark this season and is coming off a 2-0 loss to 14th ranked St. Louis on Saturday. Freshman Chefik Simo leads the Paladins in points with 15 (4 goals, 7 assists), while senior Anthony Esquivel and junior Scott Hoch each have six goals on the year.
UNCA is 3-4-1 on the season and has won two straight road matches at Liberty and at VMI. The Bulldogs' Mike Kachan has five goals and an assist for 11 points on the season.
