FURMAN RISES TO 10TH IN NATIONAL RANKINGS

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team improved four spots to 10th in the nation in the latest Soccer America national poll released on Monday.

Furman is also ranked 12th in the NSCAA poll and 10th in the College Soccer News poll. Furman defeated ninth ranked South Carolina 1-0 in on the road in Columbia on Sunday. The Paladins also defeated Lipscomb 3-0 last week.

Furman will try to extend its 38-match Southern Conference unbeaten streak and claim its fifth straight SoCon title as it travels to Georgia Southern (Wed., 12:30 p.m.) and VMI (Sat., 11:00 am) this week.The Paladins are 12-2-1 on the year, 5-0 in the Southern Conference.
