GREENVILLE, SC -- The fifth ranked Furman men's soccer team will host the second annual Umbro/Spinx Furman Invitational this weekend, as No. 16 Clemson, No. 20 Notre Dame, and Florida International will visit Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium.
Furman is currently 1-0 on the season after a convincing win over Belmont. Notre Dame is also 1-0 after defeating Villanova. Clemson is 1-2 on the year after falling to Georgia State and Florida International is 0-1 after a loss to South Florida.
The tournament will begin Friday evening at 5:00 with Clemson vs. Florida International, followed by Furman vs. Notre Dame at 7:30. On Sunday, Clemson will play Notre Dame at 12:00 and Furman will host Florida International at 2:30.
