GREENVILLE, SC -- Tickets for the Furman-Clemson men's soccer match next Wednesday will go on sale Friday morning at the Timmons Arena Ticket Office, Furman University Athletics Director Gary Clark announced today.
The 11th ranked Tigers will visit the 13th ranked Paladins on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m., at Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium. Ticket prices are $4 for adults, $2 for children.
Tickets may be purchased in person at the ticket office or by calling (864) 294-3099. Furman's Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. As always, tickets will also be available at the stadium on game day.
"We wanted to give our fans a chance to purchase tickets for this important match in advance if they choose," said Furman Athletics Director Gary Clark. "We expect a huge crowd and look forward to an excellent soccer match with a great atmosphere."
Furman last hosted Clemson in 1999 as the Paladins downed the Tigers 3-2 in overtime in front of over 3,000 spectators. Furman is currently 9-1 on the season, while the Tigers are 8-2 on the season entering this weekend matches.
