FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER LEADS NATION IN GOALS SCORED; RAAD RANKED NATIONALLY FOR OFFENSE

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team finished the week leading the nation with 47 goals scored this season. Furman is currently third in the nation in goals per match with 3.62.

The Paladins concluded the 2000 season as the Division I scoring leader with 76 goals, for a 3.30 goals per match average.

Sophomore midfielder Sergei Raad currently leads the team in scoring with eight goals and nine assists. Raad is ranked third in the nation in assists per match with a 0.82 average and ranks tenth in points per match with 2.27.

Furman is currently 10-3 on the season and ranked fifteenth in the latest Soccer America national poll. The Paladins travel to Miami, Florida this weekend to take on Kentucky and Michigan in the Florida International Tournament.
