FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER SET TO FACE GEORGIA SOUTHERN

GREENVILLE, SC -- The 13th ranked Furman men's soccer team returns home on Wednesday night to Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium to take on Southern Conference opponent Georgia Southern.

Furman holds an 11-1-1 all-time recod against Georgia Southern including victories in the last seven meetings.The Paladins won last year's regular season contest 3-0.

Furman comes into the match boasting a 25-match unbeaten streak in conference games dating back to the beginning of the 1999 season.

Georgia Southern enters the match with a 4-6 overall record and a 1-2 conference mark.

Furman is currently 8-1 on the season with a 3-0 record in the conference. The Paladins have outscored conference opponents this season 13-1. Furman is ranked 11th by College Soccer News, 13th by Soccer America, and 15th in the men's soccer media poll.
