FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER RANKED 18TH IN NATION

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team improved two spots to 18th in the latest Soccer America national poll with a 3-1 win over UNCG last weekend.

Furman finished the regular season with a perfect 8-0 league mark for the third straight season and its 30 match conference unbeaten streak ranks as the fifth best all-time. Furman has now won the last four Southern Conference regular season titles, 11 of the last 12, and 16 of the last 19.

Furman is also ranked 16th in the College Soccer News poll.

The Paladins enter the Southern Conference Tournament as the top seed and will open against Wofford Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Chaleston, S.C.
