FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER RANKED 14TH IN NATION; PALADINS LEADING NATION IN SCORING

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer remained in the Soccer America Top 20 as the Paladins are 14th in the latest rankings released on Tuesday.

The Paladins defeated The Citadel 8-0 on Thursday before falling to UAB 2-1 in overtime on Sunday.

Furman is currently leading the nation in scoring with 44 goals in 12 matches for an average of 3.67 goals per match.John Barry Nusum leads the attack for the Paladins with 10 goals and six assists. He ranks 12th in the nation in total points and 15th in goals. Last week, Nusum became the fourth Paladin in school history to record 100 points in his career. He now has 37 goals and 26 assists in his two and a half year career.

Furman is also ranked 18th in the NCAA Division I media poll and 20th by Soccer Times. The Paladins are fifth in the NCSAA South Region poll.
