GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer remained in the national rankings after an up-and-down week as the Paladins are ranked 12th in the nation in the NCAA Division I Media Poll.
Last week, Furman defeated arch-rival UNCG for the third straight time in a key Southern Confernece showdown 3-1. The Paladins then proceeded to be upset by Stetson 3-2 before rallying to win the Umbro/Spinx Furman Invitational by defeating South Florida 4-2.
Furman hosts Appalachian State Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and hosts the College of Charleston Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in two key Southern Conference matches.
The Paladins are also ranked fourth in the NSCAA South Region poll.
