GREENVILLE -- The Southern Conference men's soccer match between 14th ranked Furman and the College of Charleston has been moved to Monday, September 25 at 7 p.m. at Furmanšs Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium.
The match was postponed due to heavy rains on Friday and the threat of additional heavy rainfall on Friday night and Saturday. The match was originally scheduled for Saturday night.
"Considering the weather forecast for this weekend, I think it is best that we wait until we know that our field will be in top quality shape before we play this key Southern Conference match," said Furman head coach Doug Allison.
Furman is 6-1 on the season and ranked 14th by Soccer America and 12th in the NCAA Division I media poll. College of Charleston is 2-4-2 on the season.
