FURMAN-CLEMSON GAME TIME SET FOR 2:00 P.M.; TICKETS ON SALE NOW AT CLEMSON AND FURMAN

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman-Clemson NCAA Tournament first round men's soccer match has been set for 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Clemson's Riggs Field in Clemson, S.C.

Advance tickets are on sale beginning today at both the Furman and Clemson ticket offices. Ticket prices are set at $5 for children, senior citizens, and students and are $7 for adults.

In addition to the Clemson ticket office, tickets can be purchased by visiting the Furman University Ticket Office located in the lobby of Timmons Arena. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the gate.

Furman received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by virtue of a 2-0 victory over Radford on Sunday.The Paladins will be making their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Furman advanced to the quarterfinals last year with wins over North Carolina and Wake Forest before losing to Connecticut.

The winner of the Furman-Clemson match will play the winner of the Connecticut-Dartmouth match in the second round.

Furman is 17-3-2 on the year and won the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championship. Clemson is 13-3-2 and earned the second seed in the tournament.
