FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER TO HOST RADFORD IN NCAA PLAY-IN MATCH
GREENVILLE, SC -- The fourth-ranked Furman men's soccer team will host Big South Champion Radford in an NCAA Play-in match Saturday, November 13 at 6 p.m. The winner of the play-in match will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Furman men's soccer team is fresh off claiming the Southern Confernece Tournament Championship and have won 11 matches in a row. The Paladins are ranked in the top ten in all three national polls.
Radford won the Big South Tournament as the Highlanders defeated top seeded Liberty 4-3 in penalty kicks after the teams played 150 minutes of scoreless soccer. Radford was the sixth seed in the Big South Tournament and hold a 5-10-4 overall record.
The brackets for the 1999 Men's College Cup will be announced Monday night at 9 p.m.
