FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER RANKED 3TH IN NATION; SETS NCAA TOURNEY GAME TIME FOR 1 P.M.
GREENVILLE -- The Furman University men's soccer team concluded the regular season ranked third in the final Soccer America national soccer poll, and fifth in the final NSCAA poll. Both rankings are the highest ever for the Furman soccer program.
The Paladins, 19-1-1 on the year, will host North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Furman defeated Radford 1-0 last weekend in an NCAA Play-in match at Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium.
The Paladins are ranked second in the South Region, tying the highest-ever regional ranking for the Paladins. | ||||||
