FURMAN MEN'S SOCCER RANKED IN NATION, REGION
GREENVILLE -- The Furman University men's soccer is ranked 17th in the nation in the latest NSCAA Coaches Poll, 18th in the latest Soccer Times poll, and 19th in the latest Soccer America poll after winning the UAB/Nike Classic last weekend.
Furman downed 18th ranked South Florida, 2-1, and defeated host UAB, 1-0, in overtime to win the classic.
The Paladins, 2-0, are ranked third in the South Region. Furman has it's 1999 home opener Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against Belmont University. | ||||||||
