GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale was named Southern Conference men's soccer player of the week on Monday following three shutouts in Furman's first three matches.
Pascale, a senior from North Salem, N.Y., has recorded 12 saves this season and has yet to allow a goal.
The 16th ranked Paladins are off to a 2-0-1 start after defeating UAB 1-0, Bowling Green 1-0, and tying Ohio State 0-0.
Pascale recorded eight shutouts for the Paladins a year ago and finished in the top ten in the nation in Goals Against Average.
