John Barry Nusum Selected To Soccer America Team of the Week

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman forward John Barry Nusum was selected to the Soccer America Team of the Week on Wednesday after a five goal, three assist performance in two victories last week.

Nusum, a freshman from Devonshire, Bermuda, tied Furman's single game record for goals and points in a match as he scored four goals and had an assist in Furman's 6-0 victory over Appalachian State.

Nusum is off to another great start this week as he recorded a goal and an assist in Furman's 3-1 victory over The Citadel on Tuesday. He now has six goals and four assists in his last three matches. Nusum is leading the Paladins with nine goals and nine assists on the season.

Furman is currently 13-2-2 on the season and ranked 13th in the nation. The Paladins will face 3rd ranked Clemson this Sunday at 2 p.m. at Clemson.
