John Barry Nusum Named SoCon Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman forward John Barry Nusum was selected as the Southern Conference player-of-the-week on Monday after recording five goals and three assists in two matches last week.

Nusum, a freshman from Devonshire, Bermuda, tied Furman's single game goals and points record with four goals and an assist in a 6-0 victory over Appalachian State on Sunday. Nusum also recorded a goal and two assists in a 3-1 victory over Georgia Southern.

Furman is currently 12-2-2 overall, 5-1 in the Southern Conference and has won its last three matches.

Furman plays at The Citadel on Tuesday and is at Clemson this Sunday.
