Furman Men's Soccer Remains In National Polls

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer is ranked 14th in the nation in the latest Soccer America national poll. The Paladins are also ranked 20th in a poll conducted by Soccer News.

Furman is currently 13-3-2 overall and 6-1 in the Southern Conference. The Paladins can clinch the Number One seed at the conference tournament with a victory over VMI on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale has recorded nine shutouts this season and his goals against average of 0.70 is 14th in the nation.

After concluding the regular season on Saturday at VMI, Furman will begin postseason play in the first round of the Southern Conference tournament on Tuesday, November 3 at 7:30 at Eugene Stone Stadium.
