Furman Men's Soccer Defeats Navy

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Furman men's soccer team defeated Navy 1- 0 Saturday on a Matt Goldsmith shot with 7:21 remaining in the match in the College of Charleston tournament.

With the victory, the 19th ranked Paladins improve to 4-0-1 on the season. Goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale, who was selected to the Soccer America Team of the Week last week, has recorded shutouts in four of the Paladins five matches and has allowed only one goal all season.
