GREENVILLE, SC -- Paladin junior Ronnie Pascale has been selected Southern Conference Player-of-the-Week for the week of September 29-October 6. Pascale recorded shutouts in both of Furman's matches (a 1-0 victory over Wofford and a 2-0 victory over Wake Forest) last week. Ronnie recorded six saves against Wake Forest and three against Wofford. He is currently ranked 2nd in the South Region in Goals Against Average and has four shutouts in his five starts this season.
"Ronnie's game-saving performance vs. Wake was indicitive of his play throughout the season," said Furman head coach Doug Allison. "His spectacular play has enabled us to stay close and win some big games this year."
