Furman Soccer Ranked In Nation

GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman men's soccer team is ranked 22nd in the latest Soccer News Top 25. The Paladins are also ranked 8th in the South Region after going 1-1 this weekend.

The Paladins lost 1-0 to Creighton and defeated Vanderbilt 3-0 in the First Union Classic at the College of Charleston. Furman now holds an 8-3 overall record and are 3-1 in the Southern Conference.

"It is great to be ranked in the nation and region," Furman head coach Doug Allison said. "We just hope to continue to win and move up in the rankings."

The Paladins host The Citadel Wednesday at 7:00 and will host the Tar Heels of North Carolina this Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
