TRUMBELL, Conn. -- Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech University and Jennifer Perri of Furman University were named Golf World's Collegiate Players of the Week in the April 28 issue.

Molder, a junior from Conway, Arkansas, closed with a pair of 67s (72-67-67) to win the Atlantic Coast Conference medalist title, the first for a Yellow Jacket since 1994. It was the 21 year old's third win of the year and fifth of his career. Georgia Tech finished second at the ACC Championship tournament held at Old North State Club in Uwharrie, North Carolina.

Molder is a two-time first-team All-American, the 1999 ACC Player of the Year, the 1998 Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year (his freshman season). He competed on the 1999 Walker Cup team and qualified for the 1999 U.S. Open at Pinehurst.

Perri, a sophomore from Eden Prairie, Minn., shot a final-round 71 (68-75-71) capturing medalist honors at the Southern Conference Championship and helping her team overcome a seven shot deficit to win the team championship.

The win was Perri's second of the season and third in her career. She was the top performer for Furman in eight of nine tournaments this season and was named Conference Player of the Year last week.
