FURMAN GOLFERS SET TO TEE OFF AT EAST REGIONALS

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Florida -- Furman's 24th ranked Lady Paladin golf team will begin competition in the 2004 NCAA East Region on Thursday at the 6,165-yard, par 72 El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort..

The Lady Paladins are competing in their 12th consecutive NCAA Regional and will need a top eight finish in the field of 21 to advance to the NCAA National Championships, May 18-21, at the Grand National Golf Course in Auburn, Ala.

Furman's lineup consists of Monique Gesualdi, Connor Atkinson, Theresa Paik, Jenny Suh, and Sarah Johnston. The Lady Paladins are paired with Tennessee and South Carolina for the first round and begin teeing off at 8:10 a.m.
