FURMAN LADY PALADINS SIXTH AT MASON RUDOLPH


NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- Entering the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championships in Nashville, Tenn., two Lady Paladin golfers are in the top 10 and the Furman team is sixth after carding 290-299 for a 589 total, 13 strokes off UCLA’s lead pace.

Freshman Jenny Suh (Fairfax, Va.) followed up a first round 71 with a two-under 70 and is in third in the individual standings at 141, two strokes behind the leader, Erica Blasberg of Arizona. In addition, senior Sarah Johnston (St. Charles, Ill.) has recorded two 71s and is in fifth at 142.

Freshman Monique Gesualdi (St. Augustine, Fla.) carded a 79 on Saturday and is 46th at 153, while Tiarna Harman (Greenville, S.C.) also shot 79 and is 59th at 155. Sophomore Connor Atkinson (Charleston, S.C.) rounds out the Furman effort with a second-round 85 and is 73rd in the individual standins with a 159 total.

The third and final round of the Mason Rudolph Championships is slated for Sunday at the 6,302-yard Legends of Tennessee Club.
