WILL, D'ALESSIO, AND JACKSON EARN EXEMPT CARDS;
HANNA GETS NON-EXEMPT STATUS

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida -- Four former Furman golfers earned LPGA tour cards in the final round of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament on Friday.

Maggie Will ('87) and Diana D¹Alessio ('97) will return to the LPGA tour will exempt cards after tying for fifth at 282 and winning $3,335 each in the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament at the LPGA International Legends Course in Daytona Beach, Fla.In addition rookie Brandi Jackson, a 2003 Furman graduate, sank a 20-foot putt on the 18th hole to finish 17th at 284 and avoid a playoff for the final exempt spots.

Jen Hanna, a 1998 Furman grad and first-team All-America pick was also in the Qualifying Tournament and finished at 289 to earn a non-exempt card for the 2004 LPGA season.
