Turner Seventh at Franklin Street Trust/Tarheel Invitational

Chapel Hill, N.C. --Leigh Turner shot a second round 78 and is currently tied for seventh after two rounds of the Franklin Street Trust/Tarheel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Turner, a senior from Alpharetta, Ga., struggled after firing a first-round 68 on Friday, but stands only four strokes out of second heading into Sunday's final round. Dukes Liz Janangelo held on to the lead by shooting a 68 in Saturday's action.

The Lady Paladins struggled improved as a team firing a 303 on day two moving Furman to 12th.

The third and final round is schedules for Sunday morning.
