Brandi Jackson Claims Second at Chrysler ACC/SEC Challenge

Sandestin, Fla.. --Furman Lady Paladin golfer Brandi Jackson (71-72-74=217 +4) fired a final-round 74 to claim a tie for second with Duke's Elizabeth Janangelo at the Chrysler ACC/SEC Challenge at The Raven Course in Sandestin, Fla., Sunday. The Lady Paladins (303-307-304=914) shot a 304 in the final round to finish eighth.

Lady Paladin Leigh Turner posted the second best finish by a Furman golfer, shooting a 72 on Sunday to finish 11th. Furman's Tiarna Harman picked up one spot in the final round by shoot a six over par 77.

Auburn claimed the team title with a three-day score of 887, six strokes better than second place Duke. Auburn's Diana Ramage (71-70-73=214), tied with Jackson entering Sunday's action, took the individual title with a three-day score of one over par.

The Lady Paladins were the only team not affiliated with the SEC or ACC to participate in the 12 team field.
