Jackson Third, Lady Paladins Ninth at Chrysler ACC/SEC Challenge

Sandestin, Fla.. --Senior Brandi Jackson (Belton, S.C.) led the Lady Paladin effort with a second round 72 to improve to third place after the second round of the Chrysler ACC/SEC Challenge in Sandestin, Fla., Saturday afternoon. The Lady Paladins fired a 307 in the second round dropping them to ninth.

Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke holds a two stroke lead over Diana Ramage of Auburn heading into Sunday's third and final round of action. Jackson is just four strokes off the pace at one over par.

The Lady Paladins (303-307=610) are 20 strokes behind second round leader Duke, but only two strokes behind seventh place Kentucky

Sunday's final round, a shotgun start, begins at 8 a.m. Duke is participating in the ACC/SEC Challenge for the first time and is looking to win the event for the first time. Florida won the event in 2001 and Auburn in 2000.
