Lady Paladin Golf Team in 12th Place After Second Round of Mercedes-Benz Tournment

Knoville, Tennessee-- After the second round of the Mercedez-Benz Women's Collegiate Champion Golf Tournment, the Lady Paladins are in 12th place with a combined score of 640. The Lady Blue Devils are in first place with a two shot lead over the host university, Tennessee.

Leading Furman is junior Jennifer Perri, who fired a 6-over 78 in the Saturday's round. She is in fourteenth position.Christie Hermes of Northwestern and Meredith Duncan of LSU are tied for the number one spot after firing a 72 and 71 respectively in today's round of competition. Lady Paladin Brandi Jackson is following Perri in a tie for 46th. Furman's Tiarna Harman shot a 78 to move into third place for Furman and tied for 59th overall.

The Mercedes-Benz Women's Golf Tournamnet will conclude Sunday at the Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
