FURMAN LADY PALADINS FIRE 291 TO FINISH SIXTH AT BRYAN NATIONAL

TURNER CARDS CAREER-LOW 68

GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Furman sophomore Leigh Turner (Alpharetta, Ga.) carded a career-low 68 on Sunday to lead the Lady Paladin team to a final-round 288 and sixth place showing in the Bryan National Collegiate.

Turner's 68 gave her a three-round score of 218, which placed her sixth in the individual standings. Jennifer Perri (Eden Prairie, Minn.) followed up rounds of 74 and 71 with a 75 on Sunday to place 12th at 220, while Tiarna Harman (Greenville, S.C.) carded her second consecutive 74 to place 25th with a 225 total. Junior Brandi Jackson (Belton, S.C.) rounded out the Lady Paladin scorers on the day with a 74 and placed 49th at 232, while Sarah Johnston (St. Charles, Ill.) fired a 76 and finished in 52nd.

Furman's next competition is the Southern Conference Championship, which begins Sunday, April 15, at the Hounds Ear Resort in Boone, N.C.
