Perri Finishes in Third Place of Lady Tarheel Golf Tournment

Chapel Hill, North Carolina -- The Furman women's golf team finished in fifth place of the Lady Tarheel Golf Tournment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The team shot a combined total of 935. The Lady Blue Devils ran away with the Tournment, firing a combined score of 894.

Leading the Lady Paladins, was junior Jennifer Perri. She posted a final round of 77 to finish in 3rd place. Candy Hannemann and Leigh Anne Hardin, both from Duke, tied for first. Perri's teammates also posted good scores to help the Paladins secure a fifth place finish. Brandi Jackson tied for 16th place after firing a 75 on the last day of play and Leigh Turner posted a 83 to place in a tie for 30th.

The Lady Paladins continue their season next week in Knoxville, Tennnessee at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate Golf Tournment
