BLANDFORD TABBED AS CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SPARTANBURG, SC - Furman's T.J. Blandford and UNCG's Andy Bare share this week's SoCon Co-Men's Golfers of the Week award.

Blandford (Junior, Paradise Valley, AZ) fired a nine-under par 207 at the 7,190 yard, par 72 LSU University Club course. Blandford finished as the co-medalist in the event, falling to Tulane's Michael Thompson in a playoff. Over the last six rounds, Blandford has posted a 71.5 stroke average with two top 15 finishes.

UNCG's Bare (Senior, West End, NC) won his second tournament of the spring season at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate this past weekend, earning co-medalist honors. He broke the Spartans' 54-hole scoring record, firing an 11-under par 205. Bare's 66 in the second round is also a career-low.

Blandford's Player of the Week plaque comes on the heels of teammate Matt Davidson's player of the week honors last week.
