DAVIS NAMED SOCON GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Furman's Buddy Davis was named Southern Conference Golfer of the Week on March 28, following a strong week at the USC-Aiken Cleveland Collegiate and the Furman Intercollegiate.

Davis, a junior from Orlando, FL, had two Top 15 finishes in the week. He finished 15th at the USCA Cleveland Collegiate (71-73=144, 72 avg.) and sixth at the Furman Intercollegiate(72-71-72=215, 71.6 avg.). Davis posted an average of 71.8 over five rounds, and currently leads the Furman team with a 75.1 season stroke average.
