PALADIN GOLF TEAM FINISHES SECOND AT ODU/SEASCAPE

KITTY HAWK, North Carolina -- Furman's Paladin golf team fired a final round 302 to finish second, 10 strokes off the pace set by Virginia Tech, at the Old Dominion/Seascape Collegiate on Tuesday. Tuesday's 302 combined with Furman's tournament-low 285 on Monday to give the Paladins a 587 total.

The Furman linksters were led on Tuesday by senior Brian Scurlock's 74, while Buddy Davis carded a 75, Noble Judy shot 76, Matt Davidson fired a 77, and Kirk Satterfield recorded a 78. Davis was Furman's top finisher for the tournament, posting a two-round 146 total to place 10th, while Scurlock and Judy tied for 12th with a 147 tally, Satterfield finished 19th at 148, and Davidson took 31st at 150.

The ODU/Seascape was the Paladins' final event of the fall season.
