SATTERFIELD TAKES THIRD AT CLEVELAND GOLF/ASU

AUGUSTA, Georgia -- Furman's Kirk Satterfield fired a final-round 71 on Sunday to place third in the Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational, one stroke off the winning pace set by Augusta State's Oliver Wilson and Wake Forest's Bill Haas.

Satterfield totaled a 208 for the three rounds and helped the Furman team to a 10th place showing in the 15-team field. Other Furman scores on Sunday included a pair of 75s by Matt Davidson and David Sligh, a 76 by Noble Judy, and an 81 by senior Brian Scurlock. The Paladins third round team total of 297 game them a three-day score of 874, four strokes behind a two-way tie for eighth.
