FURMAN EXTENDS INTERNET BROADCAST
PARTNERSHIP WITH YAHOO!

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman University director of athletics Gary Clark announced today that the school has reached a new three-year agreement with Yahoo! Sports to broadcast the school's football and men's basketball games and other selected contests over the internet.

"Our relationship with Yahoo! Sports has been a real positive for our athletics program over the past four years, and we're happy to sticking with the best, most universally recognized internet service provider in the business," said Clark on Thursday.

The new contract extends through the 2005-06 basketball season.
