FURMAN'S DANNY MARSHALL NAMED
SPORTS NETWORK ALL-AMERICA

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman senior placekicker Danny Marshall today was named to the Sports Network All-America third team.

A senior from Atlanta, Ga., he led the Southern Conference in kick scoring in 2003, converting 16-of-21 field goal attempts and all 31 PATs for 79 points. He finished his career as the Southern Conference¹s all-time kick scoring leader with 312 points, making good on 51-of-64 field goals and 159-of-169 PATs.

Marshall is only the second All-America kicker in Furman history (Jim Richter, 1993).
