KICKOFF FOR FURMAN-PRESBYTERIAN
FOOTBALL GAME SET FOR 7:00 P.M.

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman University athletics director Gary Clark announced Monday that kickoff for the Paladins' Sept. 4 season opening football game against Presbyterian has been set for 7:00 p.m. at Paladin Stadium.

The Furman-PC game will highlight Paladin Club Hall-of-Fame Night at Furman and will mark the first of five Paladin home games in 2004.

Furman, which posted a 47-28 win over PC in 2001 in the last meeting between the two schools, returns 20 starters off last year's team that posted a 6-5 mark and paced the Southern Conference in total defense, scoring defense, and passing defense.
