FINAL FURMAN SPRING SCRIMMAGE
SLATED FOR 12:30 P.M. SATURDAY

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman will hold its final scrimmage of the spring football season at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Paladin Stadium, head coach Bobby Lamb announced today.

While Saturday’s scrimmage will mark Furman’s final full contact session of the spring season, the Paladins will undergo two more workouts next week to reach the NCAA limit of 15 practice sessions.

Furman returns 20 starters off last year’s squad that went 6-5 and led the Southern Conference in total defense, passing defense, and scoring defense. The Paladins open the 2004 season on Sept. 4 against Presbyterian.
