FURMAN IMPROVES TO FIFTH IN
SPORTS NETWORK NCAA I-AA POLL

GREENVILLE -- A 55-28 winner over VMI on Saturday, the Furman Paladins climbed two positions to fifth in the latest Sports Network NCAA I-AA poll, which was released today.

Furman returns to action this Saturday when it hosts Southern Conference rival Western Carolina at Paladin Stadium to highlight Family Weekend at Furman University. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.

Including playoffs, Furman has earned national Top 25 rankings for 43 consecutive weeks since the 1999 season.
