FURMAN REMAINS SIXTH IN
SPORTS NETWORK NCAA I-AA POLL

GREENVILLE -- The Furman Paladins, a 38-14 winner over Western Carolina on Saturday, remain sixth in the Sports Network NCAA I-AA poll, which was released today.

Two other Southern Conference teams are also ranked in the Top 10, with Georgia Southern No. 1 and Appalachian State No. 8.

Furman, now 5-0 on the 2000 season and 2-0 in Southern Conference play, returns to action this Saturday when it travels to Boone, N.C., to take on Appalachian State in game televised live by Fox Sports South beginning at Noon.
