27-18 WIN OVER WOFFORD LIFTS FURMAN TO FOURTH
IN LATEST SPORTS NETWORK NCAA I-AA POLL

GREENVILLE -- The Furman Paladins, fresh from a 27-18 win over Wofford on Saturday, are ranked fourth in the latest Sports Network NCAA I-AA poll, which was released today.

Furman, at No. 4, is the highest ranked Southern Conference team in the poll. Georgia Southern is No. 5 and Appalachian State No. 13.

Furman, now 8-2 on the 2000 season and 5-2 in Southern Conference play, returns to action this Saturday when it takes on Chattanooga in the regular season finale in Greenville. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
