FURMAN'S MOORE TO PLAY IN GRIDIRON CLASSIC ALL-STAR GAME

GREENVILLE -- Furman University senior All-America offensive tackle Josh Moore has been selected to play in the Third Annual Rotary Gridiron Classic All-Star Game this Saturday in Orlando, Fla.

Moore, a 6-foot-5, 306-pound native of Cross Hill, S.C., and recipient of the Southern Conference's Jacobs Blocking Award as the league's top offensive lineman this past season, will be one of 45 players on Team USA playing Team Florida, composed of players who played high school or collegiate football in the sunshine state.

The game, which will played at the Citrus Bowl, will be televised beginning at 1:00 p.m. by ESPN2.

Current NFL stars who have played in the game include Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper and 2000 Rookie-of-the-Year running back Mike Anderson of the Denver Broncos.

Game proceeds go The Buoniconti Fund for research into spinal injuries.
