FURMAN-GEORGIA SOUTHERN FOOTBALL GAME TO BE
TELEVISED BY COMCAST/CHARTER SPORTS SOUTHEAST

GREENVILLE -- Furman University's Nov. 4 home football game against Georgia Southern will be televised live by Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS), it was announced today.

The game will homecoming weekend at Furman and features the defending Southern Conference co-champion Paladins against the defending national champion Eagles, who are currently the top-ranked team in NCAA I-AA football. Furman is ranked ninth in the latest national poll.

Kickoff for the Nov. 4 game is 2:00 p.m. at Paladin Stadium. Last year Georgia Southern edged Furman 41-38 in Statesboro.

CSS is a 24-hour regional sports network with over 1.6 million subscribers across eight Southeastern states. CSS is available to approximately 254,000 subscribers in South Carolina in Greenville, Charleston, Spartanburg, and Anderson. The game will be available locally in the Greenville market over channel 73.
