WPEK-FM 98.1 AND FURMAN
ANNOUNCE TWO-YEAR

GREENVILLE ‹ Furman University Director of Sports Marketing Terry Bradley announced today that the university has signed an agreement with Greenville radio station WPEK-FM 98.1 to serve as the flagship station for Paladin football and men's basketball games the next two years.

"This is a big plus for our athletics program and our fans," said Bradley. The securing of a quality flagship station such as WPEK ‹ the most recognizable sports radio station in the Upstate ‹ gives us strong presence in a competitive market and will allow our product to be heard over much of the Upstate into Northeast Georgia."

"Furman is Greenville's university and Greenville's team, and we're excited about our new relationship with the university," said WPEK vice president and general manager Dave Alpert.
