Bryan Dailer Named 1997 Team MVP At Football Banquet
GREENVILLE -- Furman University senior defensive end Bryan Dailer was
presented this year's 1997 Paladin (MVP) Award at the school's annual football
banquet, held Friday night on the campus.
Dailer, a consensus All-Southern Conference selection who started in
all 46 games during his collegiate career, earned league defensive player-of-the-year
honors after totaling 90 tackles and conference leading 17.5 sacks in helping
Furman to a 7-4 record. He finished his career with a school record tying
35.5 sacks.
