SMITH EARNS THIRD PLAYER OF THE WEEK CITATION

Furman junior Jackie Smith earned Southern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season and the seventh time in her career on Tuesday, January 26.

Smith scored 32 points and claimed 10 rebounds the previous week in a 70-58 victory over Georgia Southern. In addition, Smith, who is currently averaging 21.9 points per game, leads the Southern Conference in points, rebounds (8.8), and offensive rebounds (4.22) and is ranked in six other categories. Smith is also ranked ninth in the nation in Division I with her 21.9 points per game average.
